HR Wallingford is an independent company that carries out research and consultancy in civil engineering hydraulics and the water environment worldwide. Established for almost 60 years, we employ more than 200 engineers, scientists, mathematicians and support staff. Our predictive physical and numerical model studies, desk studies and field data collection are backed by large-scale laboratory research. Clients include the UK Government, the European Commission and international funding agencies, as well as consultants, contractors and developers.

Based on a 36 hectare site at Wallingford, Oxfordshire, UK, the Company also has regional offices in Malaysia, Italy and Dubai.
